The Tour Ronde (3792 metres) is a spectacular mountain that rises in the Mont Blanc massif. It is easily accessible to mountaineers and provides a very good viewpoint to the major peaks on the Southern side of Mont Blanc. It also offers a lot of alpine climbing routes of all grades, including the Normal route ascent on East side, the climb on South-east ridge, the north face ascent, the Gervasutti couloir ascent.

Tour Ronde Normal route

Climb the Tour Ronde along the Normal route is one of the most classic mountaineering experience in the Mont Blanc massif. The normal route is a beautiful itinerary with a 750 metres elevation gain, reaching the summit at an altitude of 3792 meters.

Tour Ronde ascent schedule

The meeting with the mountain guide for the equipment check takes place at the Mont Blanc cable car bottom station. Riding the cable car the climbers will reach Rifugio Torino and they will, then, get to the glacier. After putting on climbing harness and crampons, the mountaineers will approach the base of Tour Ronde in 45 min of walk.

The mountaineers will face the climb along the Normal route until reaching the summit, a fun and panoramic climb, of great satisfaction. From the summit they will be able to admire a breathtaking view with the enormous South face of Mont Blanc in front.

The descent takes place through the same route.
