From Cortina, we drive for about 20 minutes to the large parking area at Rio Gere. Then skirting the main road for about 300 meters we drop to reach the signs marking the Mandres area and trail #206. The itinerary for the trek on snowshoes in the woods follows the trail skirting the base of Monte Faloria, offering a great panorama on Pomagagnon, Tofane, 5 Torri, and the Croda da Lago overlooking Cortina. Once we reach Mandres we can climb down the valley by cable car or keep on going on snowshoes on trail #220 taking you to the Meneguto Farm, then return to Cortina.
