Dolomites ski mountaineering trip - 7 days/6 nights

The whole ski mountaineering trip develops in high mountain and the overnight stay will be at some of the characteristic alpine rifugios that are on the path and that offer very good cousin and great quality wines and beers.

Ski touring tour itinerary day by day

Day One - Lastoi de Formin
Ski mountaineering excursion to col Forcella Giau, to the summit of Mount Monte di Mondeval and to Lastoi di Formin. Return to Passo Giau where the hikers will have the chance to admire and photograph the evocative Dolomite sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Giau.

Day Two - Cadin di Fanis
Ski mountaineering excursion to Fanis sud, to col Forcella delle Quaire and to col Forcella Grande, within a spectacular environment among huge yellow rock walls. Wonderful off-piste ski descents through wonderful north facing couloirs. Dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Lagazuoi, 2750 meters, the most scenic terrace of all the Dolomites.

Day Three – Valley Val di Ciampestrin
Ski mountaineering excursion to col Forcella del Lago and to the beautiful and wide valley Val di Ciampestrin that leads to the summit of Mount Monte Cavallo, at an elevation of 2912 meters. Off-piste ski descent all the way to Rifugio Fanes. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day Four - Sasso delle Dieci
Ski mountaineering excursion developing within a grand dolomite environment and reaching, with a short climbing section on rock, the summit of Mount Sasso delle Dieci, at an elevation of 3000 meters. Off-piste ski descent all the way to Rifugio Fanes. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day Five - Forcella Camin
Spectacular ski mountaineering excursion crossing col Forcella Camin. Off-piste ski descent through a very beautiful wide, north facing valley, with always beautiful snow. Dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Sennes.

Day Six - Monte Sella di Sennes
Easy and very pleasant ski mountaineering excursion trough a large upland that leads to the summit of Mount Monte Sella di Sennes. Off-piste descent through very beautiful and wide slopes. Dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Sennes.

Day Seven - Piccola Croda del Becco
Ski mountaineering excursion leading to marvelous Mount Piccola Croda del Becco. Spectacular 1200+ meters off-piste ski descent through valley Vallone della Lavina Rossa that goes down all the way to lake Lago di Braies. Return to Cortina.

  • Participants Anyone over the age of 16, with an adequate level of training and fitness, can participate in this experience.
  • Under 18 Minors under the age of 18, if unaccompanied, require a waiver of liability from the parent or guardian of the child, that must be given to the guide before the excursion begins.
  • Equipment Remember to bring the minimum required equipment for the activity. If you do not own the equipment let us know, we will provide it for you, if available or for hire.
  • Booking The booking for this experience is to join a group with a shared mountain guide. It may be reserved for a number of participants no greater than the maximum number allowed and the availability left.
  • Excursion price The price shown is for the excursion with the dedicated mountain guide and possible transfer using the guide's private vehicle. It is valid for individual reservations for a number of participants that does not exceed the maximum number allowed.

To book the ski mountaineering week in Dolomites with a mountain guide, you must send a request that provides and specifies your contact information, the number of participants and the date/period in which you wish to take the ski touring tour.
We will respond immediately to confirm the availability of the guide, the deadline, if any, to confirm the option for the reservation, methods of payment, characteristics and organization of the activity.
Once the reservation is confirmed, we will send you the receipt and the presentation voucher with the details of the service, the name of the mountain guide or the mountaineering school, and all the contact information.
