Surprisingly high dolomite walls frame this impressive environment. The excursion starts from an elevation of 2633 meters that we reach by the Mount Rosetta cable car. After climbing through the amazing Altopiano delle Pale we reach Passo Pradidali Alto and we go down to the wide valley that leads to Rifugio Pradidali. After climbing back a little we access the couloir that from Passo di Ball stretches up to the foot of the east walls of Mount Sass Maor and Mount Campanile and opens up towards Val Pradidali.

The thrilling descent is not really difficult except for a short stretch where one can hook up with a rope. Our excursion will end at hut “Baita La Ritonda” in Val Canali.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Val Pradidali features a 150 meters elevation gain and 1200 meters elevation loss and is rated as BS (Good Skier). Maximum incline is 40 degrees.
