Information about the ski mountaineering tour of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The ski mountaineering tour starts at the Antorno Lake at an elevation of 1866, where we board a snowmobile taking us to the Auronzo Lodge. From the lodge, going east on a long and almost flat traverse we approach the Lavaredo Lodge where we climb up the slope taking us to the gully between the Small Tower and Great Tower of Lavaredo.

Once we reach the first pass, on the north side we drop down with a ten-meter rope; then we ski down the steep couloir reaching the base of the amazing north faces of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Skirting the majestic faces going west, we find ourselves at the beginning of the couloir separating the Cima Grande from the Cima Ovest and we climb up to the second pass. Once we reach the top, we ski down along a beautiful gully facing south. The ski mountaineering itinerary continues in a Western direction to the vertical couloir separating the Cima Ovest from Croda del Rifugio.

Once we reach the top of the third pass on the north side, we come down with a spectacular ski run in fresh powder, reaching a small cabin. The long and exciting off-piste descent continues along magnificent slopes, down to the Rienza Valley, then to the Tre Cime Hotel, on the road from Cortina to Dobbiaco. We go back to our starting point by taxi service.
