This package offers a grand two day traverse starting from, and getting back to, Breiul-Cervinia. The schedule features the climb to Mount Breithorn, 4165 meters, and to Punta Nifetti, 4554 meters, where the hikers will find the famous Capanna Margherita, Europe’s highest rifugio; from there the mountaineers will ski through the Cime Bianche towards Gressoney and through the spectacular glacier of Grenz heading to the Swiss side, all the way to Zermatt.

Meeting Day
6:00 pm meeting in Breuil-Cervinia, briefing with the mountain guide, dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day One
Ascent to Mount Piccolo Cervino by cable car. Ski mountaineering excursion to the summit of Mount Breithorn Occidentale at an elevation of 4165 meters, with a 670 meter elevation gain. Off-piste ski descent through the Cime Bianche all the way to Champoluc, in valley Alta Val d’Ayas, with a 2600 meter elevation loss. Transfer to the hotel in Gressoney, dinner and overnight stay.

Day Two
Ascent to Mount Colle del Lys, 4151 meters, by cable car and wonderful helicopter tour over the majestic and spectacular glaciers. Ski mountaineering excursion to Mount Cima Nifetti and to Capanna Margherita, 4556 meters, with a 400 meter elevation gain. 15+ Kilometer off-piste ski descent with a 3000 meter elevation gain through the Grenz Glacier zigzagging among huge seracs and ice walls, before Mount Cervino, all the way to Zermatt in Switzerland. Ascent to Mount Piccolo Cervino by cable car. 3000 meter elevation loss ski descent to Cervinia through the ski track.
