The excursion starts from the parking lot in Val Campo di Dentro, at an elevation of 1334 meters. The itinerary starts heading to Rifugio Tre Scarperi - Dreischusterhütte, at an elevation of 1626 meters, and to the closing of the valley. After a short stretch in the woods, we turn and enter valley Hangenalp - Hangenalpltal and we walk through it until its end through several slopes.

After choosing the best point, we climb through the summit plain heading north towards the summit that raises majestic. The view is fantastic and it stretches onto the underlying Val Fiscalina and it gazes at 360° over the Dolomites and the Austrian Alps. The very rewarding descent takes place through the climb route.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Cima Piatta Alta - Hochebenkofel features a 1570 meters elevation gain and loss. It requires good training and mastering of technical skills of ski mountaineering and is rated as BS (Good Skier). Maximum incline is 35 degrees.
