The path enters the couloir that comes down harmonious from col Sella del Tremoggia and it climbs up through it completely with no obligated path until it reaches the top ridge. Through the ridge, then, the ski mountaineers will go up all the way to the summit. The landmark is spectacular.

The descent starts heading south straight on the line of maximum decilvity from the summit. After a first short steep stretch the path enters the wide underlying riverbed. The ski ride keeps going marvelous until the very beautiful pine grove right under Rifugio Fonte Vetica. On milder ground, then, the hikers will reach the starting point. As an alternative, from the summit one can go down through the climb route until the underlying couloir skiing down to the pine grove.
