The ski mountaineering excursion to Monte Cevedale (Zufallspitze) from Vedretta di Cedec starts from Rifugio Forni and through an evocative mule track it climbs up on steep hairpin turns, it goes round the ridge that leads to Val Cedec and it reaches Rifugio Pizzini. Through a constantly easy and evident path, the hikers will go up almost to station of the cableway that serves Rifugio Casati.

Heading east and passing under the evident rocky ridge that goes up to Mount Cevedale, through a very scenic stretch the path reaches a wide valley at an elevation of about 3200 meters. A steep Slope, then, leads to the high part and to the final flat section. A last steep slope will lead to the secondary summit on the north-east ridge. The summit, then, can be reached through a milder path. The new summit Cross will welcome the hikers that can enjoy an unforgettable landscape.

The beautiful and rewarding ski descent takes place through the climb route.
