Information about the Cadini di Misurina ski mountaineering excursion

The ski mountaineering itinerary starts at 1756 meters elevation at Torre del Diavolo, the old abandoned ski lift at Cadini di Misurina. We climb the first stretch along the temporarily closed trail across the ski slope, coming up to the top through a nice pine and larch forest. From there we can enjoy the view of the majestic great amphitheater surrounding the trail to the Forcella della Neve in all its splendor.

Keeping in the middle of this great deep valley we climb up reaching the pass at 2470 meters. We negotiate the descent along the same itinerary we have previously climbed up, with the option to move to the right or the left side of the valley, choosing the best slope and the best snow.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Forcella della Neve has a positive/negative elevation gain of 714 meters and a PD (Not Quite So Difficult) rating.
