Information about the off-piste skiing excursion on Faloria Mountain on Sci 18

The excursion begins at the Faloria cable car departure station, taking us up where we take a ski lift leading to the freeride start. After a first section on the slopes skirting the edge of the mountain, we reach the start of the downhill couloir. After a narrow and not so easily skiable passage just several meters long, the slope opens wide to a long and thrilling run down to the edge of the forest.

A fun ski run among larches takes us back to the intermediate station of the cable car, ready to go back up and take another spin picking other possible lines of descent. Our adventure continues with beautiful off-piste runs in the Faloria woods, along gentle slopes and narrow canyons going in the direction of Monte Cristallo.

The descent from Monte Faloria along Ski 18 has an elevation loss of about 800 meters off-piste. It requires good training and mastering of technical skiing skills because of its BS (Good Skier) rating. Maximum incline is 35 degrees.
