The off-piste skiing excursion to Mount Cima Le Sorti, in the Eastern Alps, is a particularly evocative and exciting itinerary, one of the few that are possible on the south side of the Tonale Pass. If done with good snow conditions and low temperatures it offers a priceless and incredibly fun ski ride. Information about off-piste skiing in Adamello

This awesome off-piste skiing experience in Adamello Nature Park starts from Tonale Pass (Passo del Tonale), at the parking lot by the Telecabina Paradiso cable car. Skis on, the hikers will go down through the Tonalina ski track all the way to the Nigritella cable car that will take them up to hut Capanna Bleis, at an elevation of 2494 meters.

From there, then, two freeride itineraries are possible.

Skiing Itinerary
From the cable car station the path keeps going towards the Alpino ski track and then it crosses the slope. Going through the evocative hollow the hikers will go up heading to Bocchetta Bleis, at an elevation of 2458 meters, following the summer trail. As they keep going south on the ridge the path goes down through a wonderful and wide slope that stretches among firs and it goes all the way to the Pegra ski track and to the mid station of the cable car, at an elevation of 1634 meters.

Snowboarding Itinerary
From the cable car station the path goes through a very short stretch towards the Alpino ski track before making a long diagonal in mild downhill declivity. Passing above cottage Malga Serodine, the hikers will go round the south-west slope of Mount Cima Le Sorti before reaching the beautiful open slope and meet the path above described.

The off-piste skiing excursion to Mount Cima Le Sorti in the Adamello - Presanella Range is a mid difficulty itinerary. It features an 850 meter elevation loss and it reaches a maximum elevation of 2458 meters. The descent path faces south.

  • Participants Anyone over the age of 16, with an adequate level of training and fitness, can participate in this experience.
