The itinerary of Brigata degli Alpini via ferrata to Col dei Bos unfolds along the rounded west spur of Col dei Bos, in the Lagazuoi Range, for an elevation gain of about 500 meters. The climb has no particular difficulties and unfolds with great diversity though aerial sections, vertical sections, corners, hanging ledges, and a striking and panoramic move along the ridge joining the first part of the ferrata to the second. The ferrata degli Alpini is for everyone and is ideal to perfect and become familiar with the progression techniques of the bolted routes.

The excursion starts near the Chez Strobel restaurant located at Col Galina, along the road from Cortina to Passo Falzarego. The approach is short and easy, just a 30-minute walk along an easy, well-marked trail with a panoramic view that ends up in an amphitheatre surrounded by vertical towers where we can examine trenches and caves from World War I.
