Mont de la Saxe rises within the marvelous mountainous environment that surrounds the area of Courmayeur. Actually it is not a real peak but a long hump that culminates with mount Testa Bernarda and Mount Testa della Tronche. The ski mountaineering excursion that leads to its top develops on a particularly evocative and scenic path.

The backcountry skiing does not feature particularly relevant technical issues nor a prohibitive height gain but it still offers priceless emotions through stupendous landscapes. The descent ski ride -possible through two itineraries- is marvelous and unforgettable.
