La Grivola is a mountain in the Gran Paradiso massif, in the Graian Alps, 3969 meters high. Thanks to its pyramidal shape, it is one of the most beautiful peaks in the Aosta Valley. The itineraries on its slopes are not extreme, but the quality of the rock and its isolation make it a challenging excursion.

La Grivola Normal route
Climbing La Grivola along the Normal route is a spectacular and fulfilling mountaineering experience that starts from the village of Crétaz di Cogne (1500 m). Going up the path, the mountaineers will reach the Gratton bivouac, at an elevation of 3198 meters, to spend the night. The second day he mountaineers will cross the Ghiaccio del Trajo, a semi-flat glacier, until they reach the south face of Grivola and then climb through rock passages until reaching the North East ridge. They will climb the ridge until reaching the summit at 3969 meters.
Good training is required.
