Program of the the 2-day trip of Bocchette Centrali & Bocchette Alte via ferratas

Two days of touring in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites along the Bocchette Centrali and Bocchette Alte via ferratas, the most beautiful, panoramic and famous via ferratas in the Brenta Dolomites.

Day 1
From Madonna di Campiglio we reach the parking lot by Rifugio Vallesinella, at an elevation of 1513 meters, from where the approach starts. A beautiful path leads to Bocca di Brenta, where the via ferrata begins. After passing the southwest wall of Brenta Alta, along a spectacular and panoramic aerial ledge, you ascend to Bocchetta del Campanile Basso before changing sides and reaching the terrace of Sentinella, that offers an exceptional view of the Brenta Dolomites. The path continues through slender and panoramic ledges until Bocca degli Armi, from where you descend to Rifugio Alimonta. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast.

Day 2
From Rifugio Alimonta, you ascend until you reach the snowfield of the Vedretta dei Sfulmini. You ascend Cima Molveno using metal stairs and reach the northwest terrace, then descend to the "Bocchetta Bassa dei Massodi" from where you ascend to the "Bocchetta Alta dei Massodi" and to the summit of Spallone dei Massodi to admire an exceptional panorama. You descend via the "Scala degli Amici" and reach the "Bocchetta Alta dei Massodi", now continuing horizontally along the terraces of the eastern slope of Cima Brenta, you reach the ledge dedicated to Carlo Garbari, then continue descending to Bocca del Tuckett and Rifugio Tuckett. Return via trail to Vallesinella.
