The freeride skiing to Passo del Dito starts from Passo del Tonale, from the Telecabina Paradiso cable car. After taking the cable car the skiers will go down to Passo Paradiso, 2585 meters. The path goes down to the couloir -a rappel might be necessary- that gets wider and less steep. Once they pop out on the slope, the skiers will go down to an area where two couloirs meet (they are narrow but not too steep) that will lead them to the station of the cable car that will bring them back.

This backcountry skiing in Ponte di Legno Tonale, to Passo del Dito, is a definitely demanding itinerary for steep skiing experts. It features declivities of more than 50° and the high part of the couloir is very narrow. There is a stretch where it is often necessary to setup a rappel.
