The via Ferrata del Canalone develops on a short, technical and definitely steep path featuring a highly exposed climb. It is equipped with metal brackets and handholds that assist the hikers in the key passages.

The excursion starts from the parking lot by Malga Canali. On a nice dirt road the hikers will cross the valley and, after crossing a creek, they will climb up to Rifugio Treviso and to the attack of the via ferrata. The starting point, then, will be reached after going up and down a 700 meter elevation gap.
