Information about the Cadini di Misurina trekking

This itinerary is very nice and unfolds along trails, bolted sections, hanging ledges, couloirs and run-off screes in majestic and typical surroundings. The trail stretches for 14 kilometers and is recommended for trained individuals used to mountain environment.

Trekking starts from Lago d'Antorno along a trail in the woods that leads to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Then it heads off to take the beautiful panoramic Bonacossa trail that reaches the Rinbianco pass. The path continues on a steep trail reaching Forcella della Torre, then without losing much altitude it leads to Forcella Sabbiosa, followed by Forcella Cadin Deserto and Forcella Cristina. Trekkers are going to reach Forcella della Neve After a long traverse and a steep stretch on detrital soil, walking under the spectacular Torre Innerkofler. After negotiating an elevation gain of about 900 meters, return to the starting point is by climbing down along a pleasant trail.

After a well-deserved rest at Rifugio Vandelli, we climb up the hard trail leading to Forcella della Punta Nera, overtaking a few sections bolted with a fixed rope and iron steps. From the pass we return to the cable car’s top station, then to Cortina.
