Information about the snowshoeing to Lastoi de Formin

The snowshoes itinerary begins at a small parking lot located along the road between Cortina and Passo Giau. At first the trail gently climbs up the great valley leading to Forcella Giau, then it continues to Malga Mondeval. From the malga we take the direction of the great rampart and we climb up the couloir leading to Forcella Formin. From there we head off along easy slopes in the direction of the summit of the Lastoi de Formin at 2657 meters. At the summit we enjoy a spectacular view: Monte Civetta is on the right, Monte Pelmo is in front, and Monte Antelao on the left. Initially we negotiate the descent along the upward tracks, then we continue searching for new lines, until we get back to our starting point.
