The excursion starts from the parking lot in Vallunga (1615 meters), already providing a fantastic view. Through the cross-country ski track we reach the Cappella di San Silvestro (Saint Sylvester Chapel) and e we keep climbing on a steep trail until we reach Val Chedul. As the wood starts clearing, we proceed by the huge rock blocks of Mount Desseura towards Forcella de Crespëina (2528 meters). A further steep climb, covered in intervals on skis and walking, leads to the scenic top. The descent is very enjoyable and it develops through Val Chedul to the starting point.

The ski mountaineering excursion in Val Chedul to Col Toronn features a 1030 meters elevation gain and loss. It requires good training and mastering of technical skills of ski mountaineering and is rated as AD (Rather Difficult). Maximum incline is 40 degrees.
