Information about the ski mountaineering excursion to Passo di Prà Castron

The excursion starts from street 239 Campiglio-Dimaro; through a nice forest track the climb leads to Malga Presson Bassa and to the characteristic Dosso di Santa Brigida. Through steep slopes, then, we pass a rock jump and we reach Malga Scale. As we approach the beautiful Valle del Vento we climb up, in increasing grade, until the foot of the North secondary summit of Mount Cima del Tov and we keep climbing on steep coilours, jumps and adventurous ground up to Passo di Pra’ Castron. The very pleasant ski descent takes place through the climb route.

The ski mountaineering excursion to Passo Di Pra’ Castron features a 1460 meters elevation gain and loss. It requires good training and mastering of technical skills of ski mountaineering and is rated as BS (Good Skier). Maximum incline is 40 degrees.
