You begin your mountaineering day in the charming alpine village of Pont Valsavarenche. From there, you'll ascend through the scenic valley, progressively gaining elevation toward the high mountains.

The climb follows the Normal Route of Gran Paradiso, starting from Pont Valsavarenche and progressing past the Chabod and Vittorio Emanuele refuges. The terrain combines stone trail, snowfields, and glaciated sections typical of classic Alpine mountaineering.
