The Freeride Approaching Areas, for example, are places specifically equipped for those who want to "move their first steps" in the off-piste ski; they are places with very low risk where one can try the thrill of freeride without taking the risk of the backcountry; places completely surrounded by the ski tracks that allow to safely experiment freeride ski.
Carosello 3000 in Livigno is a marvelous access to wide areas of freshly fallen snow. From the comfortable areas aside of the ski tracks to the most demanding backcountry paths or to the skiing down from the most scenic peaks of the valley, all the freeride skiers can find the right places for their technical level and for their ambitions. The Powder Slopes, then, are ski tracks that, after every relevant snowfall, are left untrod to allow a descent on freshly fallen snow.

Freeride Garone Classico
From the summit of Mount Monte Garone (3030 meters), that can be reached going up with the seal skins, a very beautiful ski ride goes down through a very wide valley that leads to the bottom of the valley. A more technical variation is possible.
Freeride Valle del Monte
From Mount Monte Campaccio (that can be reached going up with the seal skins) the path reaches the summit of Mount Monte Campaccio. The descent is fantastic and very long (1100 meter height loss).
Freeride Valle del Canton Basso
A wonderful itinerary that starts from the top station of the Federia cable car. It provides a marvelous ski ride in a motley and incredibly evocative environment.
Freeride Sponde di Federia
The descent starts from the ski track, by Vetta Blesaccia. A grand ski ride towards the bottom of valley Val Federia on relatively easy slopes and with possible variations through more exciting and demanding couloirs.
Freeride Piz D'Arin
The itinerary starts from Ponte Calcheira (1859 meters) from where, with the seal skins, the hikers will go up to Piz D'Arin. The descent is super fun and it develops through a very wide couloir.
Freeride Calcheira Alta
From Vetta Blesaccia the descent starts leaving the ski track by the top station of cable car number 19. The ski ride is spectacular and it goes down towards the bottom of valley Val Federia. It crosses very open areas where any line is possible but also some nice ridges and some exciting couloirs.
Freeride Mount Campaccio Couloirs
From the top station of the Federia cable car the itinerary starts on the ski track. With the seal skins the hikers will go up to the summit of Mount Monte Campaccio. This is a very demanding and technical itinerary for expert skier.
