Information about the via Ferrata Formenton to Tofane Group

The route features a beautiful and special aerial traverse along a rocky natural bridge that connects Tofana di Dentro to Tofana Terza. We enjoy a spectacular view over the Alpine archway as far as the eye can see along the whole itinerary, bolted with steel cables and rich in natural holds, especially from the summit of the two Tofane.

The excursion is nowhere difficult; therefore, it is recommended to everyone. It begins at the start of the Freccia del Cielo cable car, taking us directly to the summit of the Tofana di Dentro. After a section by via ferrata, we negotiate the descent on the north side, where the military remains of the Great War are still visible. When we reach the middle station at Ra Valles, we go back to Cortina by cable car.
