The Fehrmann route on Campanile Basso offers an exciting climbing experience in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Technical sheet for the Fehrmann climbing route

On the first day, from the Vallesinella area, you ascend to Rifugio Brentei where you'll spend the night.
The following day, from the refuge, you take the trail leading to Bocca di Brenta until the couloir descending from the notch of Campanile Basso, and then follow the path to the start of the Fehrmann climbing route.

The route follows almost entirely the prominent dihedral formed between the west face of Campanile and the shoulder. The difficulties are consistently around upper IV grade for 13 rope lengths. Once you reach the "Stradone Provinciale," with a final section of climbing, following the Normal route, you can reach the summit of Campanile Basso.
The descent follows the normal route with several rappels on double ropes, then via the Central Bocchette, and finally along a trail back to Vallesinella.
