Parrot Peack (4436), is a beautiful and stimulating summit located in the Monte Rosa Alps. The mountain has the shape of a long and sharp ridge in the West-East direction and is located between Eastern Lyskamm and Punta Gnifetti. Parrot Peak mountaineering ascent

Climbing to Parrot Peak (Punta Parrot - Parrotspitze) features an exciting, scenic and extremely rewarding mountaineering experience. It does not feature extreme technical issues but it entails a good physical effort and a certain confidence with elevation and high mountain environments.

Day 1
Meeting point and departure from Staffal at Gressoney-La-Trinité. Ascent with the cable car up to Indren. About 1-2 hours walk to the refuge.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Mantova Refuge (3455)

Day 2
After breakfast, at dawn the climb will start to Parrot Peak (4436). The ridge treverse, long and sharp, leads to the summit with a technical but not difficult approach. From the mountaintop you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Alps. Descent by the same route and return to Gressoney-La-Trinité with lifts.

The mountaineering ascent to Parrot Peak is rated as PD+ and it features a 950 meter elevation gap.

To book the climbing to Parrot Peak, in Monte Rosa, with a UIAGM/IFMGA certified mountain guide, you must send a request that provides and specifies your contact information, the number of participants and the date/period in which you wish to take the mountaineering experience.
We will respond immediately to confirm the availability of the guide, the deadline, if any, to confirm the option for the reservation, methods of payment, characteristics and organization of the mountain climbing activity.
