Day 1: Pont Valsavarenche → Refuge
The adventure begins in the charming alpine village of Pont Valsavarenche. You’ll ascend through classic valleys, crossing moraine and snowfields to reach Refuge Chabod (2710 m) or Refuge Vittorio Emanuele (2735 m) - your base for the summit attempt. The total vertical gain on this day is approx. 750 m, and the terrain prepares you for glacier travel ahead.
Day 2: Summit Push to Gran Paradiso
From the refuge, your mountain guide leads the team along the Normal Route, navigating glacier travel and steadily climbing toward the summit at 4061 m. After reaching the top - where breathtaking panoramas await - you’ll descend back the same way to complete the climb. Total elevation gain on summit day is approx. 1326 m.
