Day one of mountain climbing
The meeting with the mountain guide for the equipment check takes place at the Plateau Rosà cable car bottom station in Cervinia. Riding the cable car the mountaineers will reach Plateau Rosà and Rifugio Guide del Cervino, from where the mountaineers will start going up towards the Mount Castore.

The mountaineers will climb to Castore via the west face crossing the Breithorn. They will traverse the narrow snow-covered summit ridge to reach the summit. After spending some time to admire the spectacular view, they will start the descent to Guide d'Ayas Refuge (3440 m). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day two of mountain climbing
From Guide di Ayas Refuge the mountaineers resume going up the slopes. A rather steep stretch preceds an equipped stretch that allows to overcome some smooth slabs. The path, then, leads to a little col from where the sharp snowy ridge starts and it leads to the summit of Mount Pollux (Monte Polluce).
