Spectacular and beautiful climb to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. This is a classic itinerary, climbing a logical line on cracks and corners with continuous high difficulties along the overhanging yellow face of the “Piccolissima”, a very rewarding climb indeed.

Information about the Cassin climbing route to the Cima Piccolissima di Lavaredo

This route ranks among the great classics. It was opened in 1934 by R. Cassin, L. Pozzi and G. Vitali. It features a technical itinerary, adequately bolted with pitons and good belays. It runs 9 lengths for 350 meters on good and solid rock and is nicely cleaned over by the many previous redos. The climb has a VII-/A0 level of difficulty with a V+ average and mandatory VI. The descent calls for a some double-rope rappels.
