Information about the Carugati climbing route

The Carugati climbing route was opened in 1909 by a handful of daring mountaineering pioneers: Gino and Maria Carugati, Antonio Berti and Mariano Rossi.

The climb we propose of this magnificent route is the one with the variant of the Diedri Sandi (Sandi Dihedrals). The first pitch is a beautiful fourth degree dihedral not trivial even for modern climbers. The final part climbs the dihedrals with elegant fifth grade passages. Overall a climb not to be missed.

The Carugati climbing route unfolds in six lengths for an elevation gain of 150 meters on great solid rock. The climb is rated V maximum level of difficulty.
