The Monte Rosa ski mountaineering tour offers a three day ski touring starting from, and getting back to, Breiul-Cervinia. The overnight stay will all be in high mountain, in the characteristic rifugios that can be found through the path.

Day One of Monte Rosa ski mountaineering tour
8.30 am meeting in Breuil-Cervinia and briefing with the mountain guide. Ascent to Plateau Rosà with the cable car. Ski mountaineering excursion to the summit of Mount Breithorn Occidentale at an elevation of 4165 meters, with a 670 meter elevation gain. Off-piste ski descent to Rifugio Guide d'Ayas, 3394 meters. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day Two of Monte Rosa ski mountaineering tour
Off-piste ski descent through the beautiful ice valley of Verra. Ski mountaineering excursion to Passo Bettolina. Off-piste and ski traks descent all the way to Gressoney. Ascent to Mount Punta Indret, 3357 meters, by cable car. Ski mountaineering excursion to Rifugio Gnifetti, 3647 meters. The total elevation gap of the whole day, both gain and loss, is about 650 meters. Dinner and overnght stay.

Ski mountaineering excursion through the Glacier to Mount Col del Lys, 4151 meters, to Mount Punta Nifetti and to Capanna Margherita, 4556 meters, with a 1000 meter elevation gain. 15+ kilometer off-piste ski descent with a 3000 meter elevation loss through the Grenz Glacier zigzagging among huge seracs and ice walls, before Mount Cervino, all the way to Zermatt in Switzerland. Ascent to Mount Piccolo Cervino by cable car. 3000 meter elevation loss ski descent to Cervinia through the ski track.
